Best Pool Halls in Hollywood, Pasadena and Glendale?

Would like some recommendations of the best places to shoot pool around Los Angeles. How much does it cost by the hour?

I've heard Charles Billiard in Glendale and Jake's Diner and Billiard Club in Pasadena are good places.  You can also look up Hollywood Billiards for a more upscale time.  Lots of other places around LA.  I'm not sure about the rates though, might depend on the time of day, but you can expect around $14/hr.
