Best RPG offline games ever?

I want to find best RPG game that can be played offline or in LAN games...

And the game is like build a characters, leveling and stuff..

  1. the elder scrolls:morrowind is awesome like that

    levels,appearance,quests,fighting things like that

    and it costs only around $10


  2. Let's see....

    Well there's Star Wars:Old Knights of the Republic which would be my choice for best PC RPG.

    Mass Effect for the PC and Xbox 360 is supposed to be good.

    I guess Fable would be another choice as well.
