Best Restaurant In San Franscisco for Prom?

my friends and I are looking for a good restaurant to go to for prom, it should have good food obviously and not be too pricey either (too pricey for us would be more than $50 for one meal), any suggestions would help

A very cool place is Ana Mandera's.  It would be a little pricey, but very fun place and you might be able to reserve their upstairs area for prom goers....

My favorite place is the whole world is there and is called The Stinking Rose...........its not fancy but FUN and great food...

Call ahead and see if you can get the table in the window so you can show off your prom clothes!!!  Have a blast. Prom is so much fun...........wish I could go back for one day and do it again!

PS:  Without alcohol- you can do under $100 no problem!

So many choices.  What type of food are you looking for?  I would suggest skimming www.opentable.com.  You can select the type of food, neighborhood, and look at reviews, menus, etc.

Some of my ideas would be: Foreign Cinema, Absinthe, House of Prime Rib, Citizen Cake, Alamo Square Grill, Antica, Azie, Catch, LuLu, Roti, Rubicon, Luna Park, Scalas, Waterfront.

It makes a difference if you mean $50/pp out the door (then stick with restaurants with $$) or $50/pp before sodas, appetizers, tax and tip (then og up to the $$$s).
