How far into North wales are you thinking of.If you are thinking of anglesey then i would recommend the valley hotel it has a super new dining area and a good choice menu.and also very friendly.

Bistro55 is fairly nice, but it doesn't touch Plas Bodegroes in Pwllheli, Gwynedd.

They've had a michelin star for God knows how long, and they really don't charge That much for their food. A three course meal is £40, Sunday Lunch £18.50, and the wine doesn't cost too much either.

There's another fantastic restaurant that I can't think of the name of which is also in North Wales, if I speak to my Dad before this closes then I'll ask him to remind me. =)
