  3. Shield's Pizza in Southfield, Buddy's Pizza in Farmington Hills, Redford and Rochester. My personal favorite is Antonio's in Farmington Hills. Very authentic Italian food, not like Olive Garden, but better. There's also another Antonio's in Dearborn Heights.

  4. Mongolian Barbeque, best bbq ever!!

  5. In Detroit:

Traffic Jam & Snug (on W. Canfield)

    Cypress Taverna (Greek Town)

    Rattlesnake Club (on Joseph Campou)

    Armando's (Mexican Town)

    In the Burbs:

    Andiamo (Dearborn)

    Golden Chopsticks (St. Clair Shores)

    La Bistecca (Livonia/ Plymouth)

Salvatore Scallapini's (On Dix Rd.- I think it's still considered Taylor here, but not positive)

There are a ton more great places to eat, but these are the places that I've always had great food and service

  6. in greektown they have many awesome restraunts that i can think of but i would say pizzapopolis if u luv pizza a lot!

  8. On the pricier side, you have Detroit classics like the Whitney, Opus One and the Rattlesnake Club. Or the newbies on the block at the new MGM, including two restaurants (one steak, one seafood) by chef Michael Mina. I've been to his seafood place in Vegas and it was delish!

Some other favs that aren't so harsh on the wallet: Traffic Jam and Twingos.

Metrotimes has a decent restaurant guide for the Detroit area if you're looking for details: http://www.metrotimes.com/guide/restaura...

  9. My favorite is Crust pizza on Telegraph and around 14 mile.  Delish salads, thin crust gourmet pizza and great wine.
