Im so sorry for so much Queenslanders in the side, but I've rated players abilities by, if they played origin or got picked for Australia. I know there where players in the 60s that played for Australia, but they where wingers and well these two wingers i picked played origin and australia.. Dane Laurie was picked because of his potential to play for Australia and Origin.

Mal Meninga can't be in the side, he's not Aboriginal.  He is of Islander background.

Somebody has noted Ricky Walford.  Good choice.  Don't forget John Simon and Ian Russell of Illawarra.  Great players.

yeah i hear ya mate but i think tamana tahu is a kiwi and i remember in the 90s the great rivalries between the broncos and st george and this brings to mind RICKY WALFORD for the saints and the PEARL STEVE RENOUF broncos. these guys are absolute league legends.

P.S. never apologise for the inclusion of more QLDERS after all its been BLUE MURDER for the last three series a trend i see continuing. NSWs desperately need more indigenous players they add that unpredictability that cant be coached against.

Why ain't meninga and Renouf in there. Timana Tahu has a Maori dad and Abboriginal Mum so he can be in there and i'm pretty sure Justin Hogdes is an Islander not an abboriginal. C'mon you cant pick Dane Laurie now.

Not bad, but not too sure of Tahu. His father wanted him to play for the All Blacks so I think his antecedents may be Kiwi.

Disappointed that no Renouf, thought that Ambrum may have made the bench as cover for wing/centre. I feel you could have researched a bit more, apart from Beetson most of your players are within the last 20 years.

You have named a pretty fair side although I personally would have added the likes of Steve"The Pearl" Renouf,Gordon "The Raging Bull"Tallis and not to mention David"The Peach"Peachey, I'm pretty sure none of these guys would be out of place in this side.

Don't forget NSW had a policy of playing centres on the wing and may have also had a racial tendency.

Nathan Blacklock was the form winger off his time and never got picked. He was a better winger than your 2, Amos Roberts isn;\'t bad.
