looking for 2002 - 2007, currently own '93 Ltd. Ed. Chev Blazer, like it a lot. I cart kids and dogs around, not a Ford fan, not trackers or the like either, too small. Thanks

  1. How many dogs and how many kids?  Do you go off-roading?  Do you drive on unmaintained roads regularly?  Do you tow?  What is your budget?

This information is necessary to determine what is best.

Regardless, buy now, or in the next two months, before gas prices go down and people start (stupidly) buying SUVs again.

  2. It would be nice to know how much you wanted to spend.

  3. Kia Rondo

based on the very reliable Kia Optima

an impressive amount of room, with seating for seven. The standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder and optional 2.7-liter V6 are shared with the Optima. Fit and finish is very good and the ride and handling are sound. Stability control and curtain air bags are standard.$15,625 - $18,895

Highs: Ride, quietness, powertrain, access, versatility, controls, standard ESC, available third-row seat.

    Pros

Nice wide back opening. Third row seats are awesome. Comfort and safety was a must.

    Cons:

Actually nothing. Might would have gotten a 4 cylinder if I had known how gas prices were rising.

    Overall Review:

Excellent, comfortable vehicle. Would recommend for anyone.

    Pros:

Most comfortable vehicle I have ever had. Great on long trips. Great vehicle for dog show people back doors open up nice an wide, for easy crete in and out.

    Cons:

Could get better gas mileage. Rate at 30 highway only gets 26-28.

    Overall Review:

Best dog show Car for the money and gas mileage and most comfortable vehicle. If you don't need a Van but need something more then just a Car this is the Vechicle for you.

  4. chevy equinox or chevy tahoe or chevy trailblazer.

    any chevy is good :)

  5. If you check out the Explorer in the year range you are looking at, you might become a Ford fan. I traded my 02 XLT in for the new Expedition EL, and its great, but I do miss my Explorer. Its a little bigger than your Blazer, has way more room inside, and gets just about the same gas mileage, probably better (if you get the V6). It rides and handles very well. I recommended the Explorer to 4 of my friends, and after driving mine they all bought one.

  6. no SUV is worth your dollar at this point (GAS PRICES).

    try the Prius
