Best Seafood, Steak, or Italian In San Diego?

Question

My hubby and I are getting a sitter and planning a night out and want to go out for a nice but affordable dinner. We've been here for 3 years, and still haven't visited all the best restaurants.

Can anyone tell me some good places(not too touristy) something with a view would be nice, but not that important.

For Italian

Olive Garden has a great soup that no where else has called Zuppa Toscana

Sardina's has all around great food.

& last but not least The Godfather is a fancy Italian restauraunt with very good food.

I was stationed in San Diego and I loved to go to Anthony's Fish Grotto. It is in the bay and you can request water front seating. If I recall correct prices were not bad for seafood and steak.
