  1. There are a TON of slots to choose from, that's for sure. I live right nears Mohegan Sun so I go there quite often.

My suggestion is to not play the slots at all because they have some of the worst odds in a casino (especially Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun since they don't pay off as well as Vegas or AC).

But if you must play slots, there are a lot of $.01 and $.02 slots to pick from. Any of them will do. If you are going to play, look for a big progressive jackpot. My mother hit a progressive for $2,100 on a $.02 slot called Red-Hot 7's. If you play slots, you may as well try to hit the big one!

My best suggestion is to download a blackjack strategy card from any online site. Both casinos will let you use them at the table and they will instruct you on the best strategy for the game. Foxwoods and Mohegan are some of the best casinos for blackjack because they allow the player to surrender and the dealer has to stay on soft 17 (A-6). If you stick to the strategy card and have a little bit of luck, your girlfriend might actually make money instead of blowing through all of her cash.

Either way, good luck!! And welcome to Connecticut!

  2. I don't know, but I heard somewhere the MGM is open right ntext to Foxwoods, maybe you can check that out too.
