  1. Burton is all about the name. Top of the line stuff is well top of the line like any other companies top of the line.  but the rest is mediocre.  so all you burton bandwagoners know your product before you buy.  And well sims is good beginner to intermediate boards.  and since K2 makes hmmm K2, ride, morrow, and 5150.  you have a better selection of good boards.  Overall go with the board you are comfortable with, no matter the brand. height and yes people weight matters.  Like already stated wait till end of season and buy used or deeply discounted. And GO TO DEMO DAYS.

  2. Out of those?  Not Morrow, perhaps Sims.

Don't choose a board based on brand or graphics though!  You want to make sure that you get one that fits your weight and height and skills.  Talk to some employees at a shop and see what they recommend.

If you're looking for a cheaper board consider waiting until the end of the season or buy used.  There might be a rental shop near you that clears out some stock and you can be sure that they keep their boards pretty well tuned all season and they should be in decent condition.

  3. Ignore the Burton fanboys, their top of the line stuff is pretty good, most of the other stuff is the same c**p as everyone else.  I've been riding for 18 years and I've had a Sims and K2.  I liked the K2 better.  otw imo the best board in general is Never Summer.

  4. a lot of this question is just you specific personal preference but my opinion is that K2 is best Morrow is 2nd and last is Sims

  5. dont go morrow, they are the cheapest boards made by k2.sims is good but i would say k2 is the best.

  6. Of the three you have listed, I would only consider the K2.  Missing from your list: Sapient, Nitro, Option, Prior, Rome, Ride... to mention a few.

  7. i love burton yes im a girl and i love snowboardin =]

  8. burton

  9. flow binding (toe strap) Burton or K2 board

  10. Both Sims and Morrow where great brands back in the day but the quality of there products has diminised over the years. This isent to say they are bad there not, its just there are alot better brands around currently than them. K2 make very good boards for all types and levels of riding, there bindings are really good also. Out of the three brands you have mentioned i would rate K2 the best by quite a bit.

  11. well i personally i think K2 is a very good board but i dont really like burton all that much but it doesnt matter all that much just get a board and bindings and your set dont buy some $500 board just cuz it looks cool it doesnt matter that much but i say K2 if you buy a board

  12. K2.  Sims is a pretty old name, but so is K2.  But K2 makes the better product.  Morrow is a very beginner board company.  Just go with a K2.

Burton's are good, Never Summer's are a little heavier, but built like a tank.  Rome is better for park.

But with the three you listed, K2.

  13. K2's are great.....I dont really know about Sims and Morrow is low end....Burton's are nice but a little flashy with no real actual structural advantage...i would go for burton bindings though...they are the only ones i know of to offer a toe strap...and they are great bindings with a lifetime warranty.

  14. out of the ones listed sims, but I would go burton!!! It is what suits you to though. And it depends how long you've been riding. Do your reasearch. Don't buy a board because of the way it looks, but it because of performance. Find out when your mountain's next demo day is and test out different boards and choose the one that is most suited to you.
