Question:

Best Spanish SIM card for calling USA?

I'm going to Spain in June, and I need a SIM card for my mobile phone to call home to USA. Which is better/cheaper/easier: buying a Lebara card here, or buying a Happy Movil card there? Anyone have experience with either, or with something even better?

  1. http://www.spainsim.com/

These people are great help...very knowledgeable about SIM cards.

Also check out www.multimadrid.com for lots of information about Spain....pictures, message boards, etc.

  2. Out of my own experience (a frequent traveller throughout Europe in a camper van), I suggest you look out for an Orange SIM card upon arrival in the country. They have shops in every town and larger village. Prices don't vary much between companies - but service does... Once you have the card, you can upload any amount you wish in almost any tobacco outlet (estanco) and of course in Orange shops. The easiest system I have seen around!
