Best Subway/Bus Directions?

What are the best subway/bus directions to get from Randall's Island, Icahn Stadium to Queens Center Mall. I want to mimimize my travel time please.

There is only one bus route on Randall's Island.  Depending on the time of day there is a bus every 8 - 20 minutes.

Take the M35 bus to 125th Street/Lexington Avenue.  Then take the downtown #4 or 5 train (subway) to 59th St.  Transfer to a Queen-bound R train.  Take that to Woodhaven Blvd/Slattery Plaza.  The Queens Center Mall is a block away.

There is no quick routing by subway/bus.  The R is a local in Queens (Woodhaven Blvd is a local stop).  The travel time will vary depending on the day (weekday vs weekend) and the time of day.

As a backup at 59th St if for some reason the R isn't running or is delayed - Take a Queens bound N or W train one stop to Queensboro Plaza, transfer across the platform to the #7 local.  Take that to 74th St, then go downstairs for an uptown G or R train to Woodhaven Blvd.  The R should be running without any problems but then you never know.  It is always good to have an alternate.
