Best Terms tempted to win Fillies’ Stakes
On the card of Lingfield, Best Terms looks to be the best candidate who can seal a sterling success in the Betfred Mobile Chartwell Fillies’ Stakes (Group 3), a high-profile Class 1 contest that is going to take place today, May 12. The race will commence
at 2:10 (GMT).
To cover the distance of 7 furlongs, the Richard Hannon-trained bay filly will run against a dozen of strong rivals including Chachamaidee, Dysphonia, Libys Dream, Marvada, Mortitia, Night Lily, Perfect Tribute, Theladyinquestion, Fallen For You, Fillionaire,
My Propeller and Villeneuve. A prize cheque worth £31,191 is waiting for the supposed winner.
Best Terms has been in good terms with success since the very beginning of her career. After debuting on April 18, 2011, the three-year-old novice runner excellently won her first four races in a row.
This remarkable success streak installed her at the top of the betting market and the fantastic filly was tagged as the hot favourite runner in each of the two subsequent races, but she could not be able to win there.
The brilliant daughter of Exceed And Excel out of Sharp Terms finished 5th against 8 competitors in each of the last two starts of her career. Currently, she is awash with spirit and stamina ahead of the Fillies’ Stakes. Her chances to thrive
today are as high as 97 percent.
Among Best Terms’ rivals, Chachamaidee and Fallen For You are expected to show decent runs in the race.
Chachamaidee has won 4 of her total 15 starts so far. The Sir Henry Cecil-trained bay mare elegantly finished as a runner-up in each of the last two races of her career on September 24 and October 8, 2011.
On the other hand, Fallen For You finished first in both the first and last races of her career. During the intervening period, she grabbed a runner-up rank and a 5th spot in two consecutive events.
With both these runners carrying enough form, Best Terms will have to be wary of them during the race. The competition is likely to be greatly thrilling and amazing. Good luck to all the runners.
