  1. A girl I know wanted to find her birth parents.  She knew the county she was born in so sent for her birth certificate and it had her mom and her dads name on it.  She was pretty fortunate to her birth certificate with her parents names on it.  There are a lot of websites that can help lead you in the right direction.

  2. First, register with ISRR:

    http://www.isrr.net

Second, depending on what state the adoption occurred in, there may be state registries to register with that facilitate reunions.

Third, if he was adopted through an agency, they may offer reunion facilitation services. (It will cost money, though not as much as a private investigator.)

    Also register his information on

    http://registry.adoption.com/

Check here for information on your state records -

(click on the page marked 'Searchers' down the left hand side)

Check here for search help - and links to FREE search angels -

There's a lot of people out there who are willing to help you.

    Good luck!

  3. I did adoption with my baby( I gave her up) and the biological mother always has a choice with the kid when he/she is older to find them and if hes having a hard time then thats probably what she wanted, for him not to find her. I don't want to sound mean or anything but thats just how some women are, they think its easier to cop with that they did if they just try to forget.
