Best Turkish destinations?

Question

We have friends who live in Istanbul and we want to go visit. Would it be worth our while to travel Turkey exclusively, or head to Greece for part of our trip? If we stay, which destinations do you recommend as can't miss? We're talking about a 14 day trip.

istanbul, bodrum, pamukkale(cotton castle), Cappadocia, bergama, . 14 days not enough

Istanbul is amazing and you could easily spend all your time there. Other must see places are Cappadocia and the Aegean/Mediterranean coast. Try to do a blue cruise from Bodrum,Marmaris or Fethiye.

If you had more than 14 days I could go on.....

I LOVE Turkey :)!

I'd definetely suggest Ephesus for the history, Pamukkale for the relaxation and Kusadasi for the nightlife!

I've been to Turkey for years now and I've made so many great friends there, my family and I usually go to Altinkum.

my suggestion for you to go see Turkey and then if you dont like move over greece... but imsure Istanbul itself would amaze you with everything consists... but it is definitely better to go see by your eyes. dont miss cultural stuff and making more friends coz you ll need them by the way im sure your friends will suggest you some destinations... Turkey is full of them
