Best Type Of Fish?

I got 2 very small goldfish in a 30 gallon tank with everything and was thinking if I could get some more because I had a huge wet space thanks

Since goldfish are coldwater fish DO NOT put tropical fish like Bettas or guppies in there with them.

White Cloud Mountain Minnows are coldwater fish, fairly inexpensive, and you could add a small school of them (5-7 fish) to your tank without much impact to the overall bio-load.

Make sure you have good filtration and keep the water quality good because goldfish are pretty messy, even when they are little.

I'm sorry to say, but if you have 2 goldfish in a 30 gallon tank, you are maxed out.  Goldfish need 20 gallons for the first and then 10 gallons for each additional goldfish.  They are very messy fish (large waste producers) and they grow to be very large.  Even if they are small now,  you want to think about the future.   Now, if you were planning on getting a 55 gallon tank in the next year or two, then you might be able to get another goldfish.  Or a couple of white clouds, as white clouds are also coldwater fish.

But please don't get any guppies, they are tropical fish and have very different temperature requirements from goldfish.
