Best Way to keep black shirts and jeans from fading washing them?

ugh I follow da instructions for washin on my clothes always but d**n they still fade, shrink I understand, not fade.

wash on cold, darks with darks. you can get laundry soap specifically for darks. it's supposed to help. and dont dry them. hang or lay to dry. black cotton stuff will always fade anyway.
