Best Way to organize a balloon race?

Me and My Website (www.meyyenetwork.ning.com) are doing a balloon race, and I just wanted to know, If you were doing one, How would you do it?

Give a 1-2 week notice to everyone in your area by distrubuting leaflets. Place ads on shopping windows. Let schools know about this to so that teachers can tell their students that there will be a balloon race at so & so.  Freidns, family know. Might as well call in the media :)

Thats how i will do one and not forgetting in a big park and on a sunny day so watch the weather man :)

You would need to get insurance and sponsors then when you do all that you will need to advertise the event
