Question:

Best Wireless for a Wii?

Okay, I bought a Wii and I can only get Wireless connection from a neighbor which isn't really good...

So I found something which might make my Wii faster...

This: http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-87024-Wii-Net-Connect/dp/B000X2DP8O/ref=dp_cp_ob_vg_title_0

So, now all I need to know is what is Ethernet?

There is also the Wii LAN adapter, and I don't know how that works.

If the Ethernet thing has anything to do with a phone line, I'm screwed because I don't have one.

Also, my Wii is a room away from my computer if it needs it, so will I be needing to buy extra cable?

Which one of the two is better for me?

If someone can tell me exactly how each work by not copying and pasting from somewhere like Wikipedia which didn't help me at all, It'd be really helpful.

Also tell me the differences of the two if possible. 10 points to whoever can help me the most.

  1. The wireless is gonna be so hard. You wil have to connect that thing that ur buying into ur wii and plug the other end into a cord to hook up to ur computer. And since its away from ur computer its gonna be harder.

The best thing to do is use a wirelesss connection and itsdon'tt run slow. And since the wirelesss router is gonna b in the same room as ur wii, its gonna get the same connection that it would get if u hook it up wired.

Even on Nintendos web site they recommend a wireless connection.

If u do get a wireless router, just get a Belkin wire less router. Its only $30 and they sell it about any where. (staples, office max, target, K mart, walmart etc.)

And on nintendos site they reccomend the belkin router. And i own this router and it works greatt.

  2. the best way is wireless but look it up on www.nintendo.com

    or search on google
