  1. You need to talk to your doctor about that.  Nobody here is qualified to give you medical advise

  2. not that im a parent myself...i do know of somebody else who has type 1 aswell....they have also tried for children and was told by their gp that the younger the better be coz there is a risk of it gettin worse as u get older.

  3. Anyone with diabetes, type I or II will be classified as a high risk pregnancy, due to the added monitoring need with your blood sugar and managing your  diabetes medication, and with diabetes, in some cases the fetus (baby) can grow too large to deliever vaginally. Your baby will be monitored as well. This is the same with any age you conceive.

You'll need to get with your doctor before you conceive to do a few tests to see if your diabetes is controlled well enough to stop birth control - if you're using it - and to check the function of your kidneys and such. Basically to get an idea if it is the right time to try and get pregnant with the least amount complications possible.

The only age concern for doctors and conceiving is really advanced maternal age (40+ yrs.) due to the added stress the body will be put through with pregnancy and the higher chances of a chromosomal disorder, like Trisomy 21 (Down-syndrome).
