Im looking to spend about $30 - $100 on a airbrush. What would be the best airbrush for this??

  1. The best general purpose airbrush ever made is the Paasche VL. I have a couple of them and they are superb.

    Now, I say general purpose. If you want to get really specialized where you're going to be doing super-fine artwork, then you'll want something else, like the Iwata HP-A or even the Paasche AB, but for the linked examples you showed, the Paasche VL should do you very well.

    Buy the "set" or "kit" (see link below) - you'll get a variety of cups and jars for paint, some air hose and all 3 sizes of tips for this airbrush (tips determine amount of paint and air flowing through to your work, VL-1 is finest, VL-5 is the largest).

    This is one airbrush that is a great starter for the beginner, but it is also one that the expert can always rely on too. As I mentioned, it is THE best general purpose, warhorse airbrush made.

    d**k Blick sells the set for around $68, which is as good a price as they've ever been. Shop around, but this is a good price.
