Best airlines for comfort/ service?

I am flying from NY to Nashville. The last few times I've flown I have been miserably cramped in too-small, hard seats (I'm not a large person). Which is the best airline for a comfortable flight, in business class?

  1. US airlines these days are all the same, so choosing one over another isn't going to change the service or comfort. If I had to choose, continental would probably be the best, even for economy, but i am not sure if they fly from NY to Tenn

  2. Among the airlines that fly nonstop, seat sizes are about the same on all of them. You can compare seat widths and legroom at www.seatguru.com.  United offers a premium economy seat at extra cost, but you'll have to change planes. It's not worth it given the the risk of delays and cancellations, not to mention that it's United Airlines.

Just take whichever airline has the best schedules and fares. If you're in economy class (I don't think that anyone offers business class on this route), you can often get extra legroom by trying to book a bulkhead or exit row seat.

  3. anything other than continental their seats su@k
