Best and affordable Prepaid Mobile connection in Singapore?

Dear friends,

I would be traveling to Singapore for 3 months (from Oct to Dec, 2008) on official visit. I would require a mobile phone during this period.

My main purpose would be to make 1 or 2 local calls (Singapore) daily; receive international calls (from India) and to make 1 or 2 ISD calls to India daily.

Please suggest me some suitable network and also if you know any details like website address where I can find details about prepaid plans?

There are three authorised mobile companies in Singapore - Starhub, Singtel and M1. You can select either one and can buy a prepaid card at any Singapore Post Office or at the authorised dealer from the service provider as stated above. Just type either of the service provider you will be able to find the official website.

Once you finish using the credit limit on the card, you just need to go to the shop again to buy a top up card and you will have a certain amount of free sms which you can send locally and overseas. At the same time, after every call you will get an incoming message telling you how much limit you have left.
