Best and cheapest banquet in IL?

What are the best and cheapest banquet halls in or any other place in IL where I can invite 60 people? it's 5-6 hours long for 60 people and is a formal occasion...can any of u tell me what place is cheapest and decent for the bday party? btw we will have our own catering so that doesn't count in the price...thanks

If you are bringing your own food, consider a picnic or barbeque style.

The public parks are very reasonable and you can bring as much as you need to them.  You can often set up tents and with some nice white lights and luminaries 'class' it up a bit.

Most banquet halls will not allow you to bring in your own food, they make their money on the food as well as the space.

If you want a place where you can bring in your own food look at church halls, VFW posts, Moose Lodges, Some residential neighborhoods have "clubhouses" that are available to residents.  If any one in your group lives in a neighbor hood or apartment or condo area that has that available that may be a good bet.
