Best and worst areas of Sheffield?

I remember the uni area being pretty nice, and Sheffield being a great city. Where are the most desirable and least desirable areas of the place?

I would say the area around the uni and devonshire green are the worst areas,horrible looking apartments that dont fit in with the rest of the city and priced out of the reech of normal working people.The authorities dont seem to  know what to develop sheffield city as.Burngreeve/heeley/crookes are all nice communities despite the negative gossip a lot of people tend to believe without actually taking the time to visit the places and form their own opinions.

If you need the Uni, then Crookes, Walkley, Nether Edge and Ecclesall are all good.  My parents live in Loxley which is pretty good too.  No go areas of Sheffield are Parson Cross, Firth Park, Firvale, Wisewood, Shiregreen, Upperthorpe and Manor.
