Best and worst thing to happen to WWE?

We all know over the years WWE has gone downhill from what it once was. In your opinion what are the best and worst things to happen to the WWE in recent years? The worst by far for me is trying to appeal to younger audiences I know they did it for more money but it just sucks for us older viewers. Best is a little harder but I guess I'm going to say Santino Marella...That guy is just awesome on the mic plus WWE hasn't really had many great happenings lately.

The worst thing to happen has been buying off WCW and WCW going out of business.  When WCW was going, the WWF had to get after the ratings and stay competitive.  Now the product is going stale.

The Best thing to happen was the Montreal Screwjob.  It allowed the WWF to go in the Attitude direction and build stars like SCSA, Foley, The Rock, and HHH.

The Best:  Edge, in my oppinion Edge is the best thing to happen to WWE in recent years, hes a tremendous wrestler and hes a great villain, b4 he emerged as main event material there was really no big time villain in the WWE, and he filled that void and he has been putting on quality matches ever since.

The Worst: The Benoit Tragedy, it was horrible publicity for WWE as well as for the family of Chris Benoit and his wife Nancy, in my oppinion it is the worst thing ever to happen in professional wrestling

Cena held the wwe title for a year

Khali winning a world title

all shows turning to PG

Got rid of the hardcore championship

RVD busted for weed and was stripped from the WWE title

I agree. The worst thing is the whole appealing to little kids. Thats just ridiciloud. I wanna hear some vulgarity. I wanna see some sadistic-ness. I wanna hear Jerry Lawler yell PUPPIES!!!!

The best thing was putting Triple H on Smackdown! and Giving the belt to CM Punk. If punk got the belt on Raw with HHH there, he would have been lucky to have it for a month. But yea, Those are in my opinion the best and worsts things to happen in WWE lately.

vince mcmahon's million dollar give away with his fake death it didn't work the 1st time so why would it work the second, and cm punk

no more eddie or benoit, its a shame they are dead at least eddie, but i was tired of 2 180 pound heavyweight champions being forced down my throat

Worst Thing would be -

Trying to target younger audiences . . Its becoming beyond a joke! And letting go of amazingly talented superstars.

Best Thing -

Bringing back old superstars like Chris Jericho etc. Also the amount of second generation superstars that are starting to emerge.

The best thing that ever happened to the WWE was the Attitude Era. Steve Austin was a face. D-Generation X, Monday Night Wars, Mankind, The Rock, Chris Jericho, Kane, Kurt Angle, X-Pac, Austin/McMahon feud, Wrestlemania XIV.

Worst thing- April 1, 2001, last day of the Attitude Era

The best thing to happen to WWE is TNa. If there was no TNa then there would be no competition and the WWE fans would just get bored and stop watching.

The worst thing to happen to WWE is The new ECW. This ECW is just disgraceful and not "Extreme" When they bring back, flaming tables, barbed wire, chairs, any weapon really, then they can be called Extreme and get some more championships we are sick and tired of the championship match over and over.
