Pulau Gaya in Sabah ... there you might be 'escorted' to a thrill adventure across international water by pendatang tanpa izin ... and they charged you very expensive for the food and lodging ... lol

with so many rubbish at the sealine, you bet you thought it is jelly-fish season ... also, you will be pestered by the immigrant children to buy plastic bags if you visit the wet market ...

At this rate, I think Sabah will lose its place as the best place to tour ....

Kuantan.

Beautiful, sandy beaches, cleanliness is better than KL or JB, very nice people, very cheap seafood, a wide variety of food and property there is cheap as well. And a very relaxed lifestyle. Perfect.

Do you mean permanent residencies or temporary places to live in Malaysia. There many good places such as cities, towns and islands in West and East Malaysia. If you are born and raised up in the cities,  you will preferred city lives due  to career opportunities  and family etc... You will never like the living styles in small towns. When you have already settled down at a nice place, whey must you change to another venues. So think about it.

if u like city,i suggest around kuala lumpur.

if u like a combination of city and a bit province i think johor baruh is good but if u want a province then i think seremban or mellaca is good
