this is fo tennis. i was starting to think about who has the the best chances in the upcoming olympics in terms of the countries. first, the us isnt looking strong with andy roddick and marty fish both skipping. GB isnt looking too hot either with just andy murray. france looked suprisingly good with gasquet, simon, and tsonga. russia has a chance with a great deal of their players in the top 100. but i think spain is gonna come on top as they have this whole year, with juan carlos ferrero, carlos moya, nicolas almagro, fernando verdasco, feliciano lopez, and of coarse, RAFA NADAL. this outstanding list of players really caught my eye. i was just looking who you guys think has good chances to grab the gold in bejing. ....... i was also thinking how players like roddick might have a better chance in the us open with the long rest before it, by skipping the olympics.

  1. spain definitely has a good chance and russia is great too.

but if u see  the past olympics u will realise that the people who triumph there are mostly not the biggies in tennis.

as for roddick the rest might do him good but not good enough to even reach the semis of the us open.

  2. This is gonna be tough

    first,a star for your question

I think spain has the strongest chance at olympics with rafael nadal picking up the seventh tittle of the year.and u never know of roger federer or novak djokovic

    According to me

    gold-nadal

    silver-federer

    bronze-djokovic/murray

    woman

    Serbia,Russia or Usa

    gold-Ana Ivanovic

    silver-Serena Williams

    bronze-Maria Sharapova

  3. As far as on the men's side I definitely think Spain has a very big chance to win big because they have the more solid players. Other countries that could do well are definitely Russia, I also think Switzerland and Serbia could do because both those countries have two very strong players Federer and Djokovic. As for the women I definitely give big chances to the USA, Russia, and Serbia. The Olympics will definitely be interesting.

  4. Roddick and them aren't really resting. They're playing tournaments in the US. New Haven and Washington. Roddick likely knows he has no chance of winning the olympics :p

Either way I'll be cheering for Roger to win gold until the last point
