Ok, so I just got a 1996 Ford F-150 Flareside with a Mark III finish. Its a 2-door extended cab. I'm looking for the best speaker set up possible. Its possible to take out the back seats. If you can help, please explain kind of thouroughly, seeing as I'm 16 and have had minimal experience in this field. I've already gotten a couple new tweeters. So thank you for your help.

  1. hey I have a similar truck, a chevrolet extended cab and you are right just take the back seat out and then you will have all the space in the world for your massive subwoofer box.

my initial setup was 2 individual 15" subwoofer boxes 3 cubic feet plus port they both are facing up.

I will redo my boxes to 5 cubic feet each to get the most bass out of them.

plain and simple man, take that back seat out and then you can choose what you want 10", 12" or 15"s and they will have the space they need cause you truck has the space
