Question:

Best bag for general jabs/hooks/upper cuts?

I'm hopeless with my legs so I want to focus on my punches.

What is the best type of punching bag for jabs/hooks/upper cuts? I was thinking about the tear drop punching bag.

Also, do I need to buy gloves for training? If so, what kind?

Thanks so much. Note that I'm not under any professional training or anything. :)

  1. if you want to work on ur jabs try to go to a local gym and use the bigger bags that swing back and forth (tape a c on the bag to laocate the areas you wnat to use

  2. A wall bag, that's fixed to wall and you don't need to much leg movement, but you got to practice your footwork..no use having great punches if you cant move

  3. if i were you i would invest in a heavybag depending on how big you are i would look at diff weights and choose the heavybag that fits you best it will help with your power for sure.
