Best beach in st john ,nb,ca ?????

Question

I only have like 1-2 hours to spend because I am moving! I would like to be able to swim a bit and I am looking for a sandy non crowded beach??

Anyone knows??

Are you looking for swimming in the ocean or fresh water?

Mispec would probably be my fave

...just in the East end via Red Head Road. It is Ocean water so be prepared to get chilly.

The second best Ocean spot would be New River Beach..it's actually the best beach, but is much more crowded and farther out of town.

If you're talking fresh water, try Lakewood Resivoir http://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/Produc...

The water may a little bit chilly (definately warmer than the ocean) and it usually not crowded.

Crystal Beach is my other choice, especially if you're closer to the Grand Bay area. http://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/Produc...
