Best beginner bmx bike?

i have decided to go with bmx. i want more of a street bmx bike. what do u think the best beginner bike is?

Buddy! Go for the BMX made in Taiwan or Pakistan or the one made in USA. These BMX bike provide the best balance and in them , you can learn a lot about handling and quick sharp turns. You can become a champion of cycling in one of them.

They are cheap( not the ones made in US) and are sturdy and should at least run for about 10 to 12 years without getting damage in the frame, which is the main part of the BMX.

In my opinion the dk general lee would be the best for you. It is crazy on the streets.  It rides so smooth and it is pretty light.

It is about 239 bucks

I would go with a Haro F1, classic brand that has been doing it right for a long long time.  The MRSP on the F1 is $285, but it's well worth the money, I personally have an F4 and I love it, I also have a friend that owns an F1 and I must say it's a very solid bike that I could've appreciated as a beginner, not to mention the beatings these things can take, I can't even imagine the number of times my friend and I have fallen on our bikes, and the worst damage to my bike has been a broken brake lever, and that was a nasty fall...

If you are looking for a bike that is around 200$ you could get a Mirraco Icon Intro, its 250$ but its well worth it, it has a cromo frame (means its light) A 3 piece cromo crank (dont get a 1 piece) and is only 250$.

you should definately check out www.danscomp.com and www.jrbicycles.com...they have a really good range and good prices...some brands to look into are eastern, kink, fit and stolen but for a beginner you might want to look into DK, GT and specialized also

i would go with mirraco because of the good parts they have on there bikes
