Best bodyboard brand?

In your opinion, what is the best bodyboard brand?

i have been riding bodyboards my whole life.. the waves that i ride range from 3 to 7 feet on average.. since i have started i have always used a Morey board.. i will never go with another board because they are the most reliable.. all my friends that ride with me believe the same thing.. you will never regret getting a Morey..

I assume you are a beginner. As a former designer of custom competition boards I can catagoryly state that all commercial body boards are copies of another. A slight change in shape but copies non the less.

90% of what you read about performance is abosolute rubbish.

An example . In 1993 Xen developed a range of boards with a special stiff and vari flex cores.  

As all boards had a great deal of Flex - because they could not make them any other way- the stiff core was a big no no.

Because soft core boards were ridden by the heros of the time it took three years before carbon rods were fitted to commercial boards to add their stiffness and ten years before stiff core boards to become the in thing

A small example but you get the idea. As long as you do not go cheap buy the one you like the look of.

Channels, pantail etc are all cons. Like wearing Nike shoes and thinking it will make you slam dunk perfectly. It is all in the style of ride you develop and the amount of time you put into the sport.

BZ and Custom X also you will want to buy a pair of bodyboarding fins. Vipers are the best.
