  1. I am a triathlete and before races or long workouts I drink my breakfast. I drink Boost Plus which has 350 calories about 3 hours before my workout. That way if you have a nervous stomach you don't have to go #2. Also the calories are more readily used for energy.

For dinner, if you already have a healthy diet, it really doesn't matter what you have the night before. Eat what you always eat so there'll be no surprises as far as stomach intolerance.

  2. What's best is different for everybody, since every ones body is slightly different and reacts to food intake slightly different. What I've found works best for me is a small bowl of cheerios with honey, and some fruit on the side. I have heard that drinking milk increases phlegm in the throat, but from my experience the amount of milk used in a small bowl of cereal does not make much of a difference.

    Good luck and Good running!

  3. The night before: pasta, bread, and plenty of water

The morning of: bagel, english muffin, or toast with peanut butter, a banana, and a bottle of water.

Snack before the race (30-60 minutes before)- protein bar, banana, water

bananas help prevent cramps, so eat one before you race :)

  4. 10 red bulls.

  5. eat up all da hataz fa breakfast good luck bbychild

  6. try and stay away from milk before a run.

Also, drink a glass of water a while before you run. You dont want cramps

  7. when i wake up before a race I would have an english muffin with peanut butter(like 3-4 hrs before a race and whole wheat) 30 mins before a reace I would have a balance or power bar.  Hope I helped.

  8. Drop the cereal, Eat a banana for potassium and 1 or 2 bottles of water. If you still feel hungry which you shouldnt eat a power/nutri grain bar. Drinkign alot of wate rhelps though i do socer workouts at 8 too and eating a banana and a botle of water makes me feel up to my top potential.

  9. Brekkie- Porridge, Chopped banana & honey (:

Dinner 2nite: Pasta, bacon and cheese

Gd luck hope u do well (:

  10. Pasta for meals is awesome to get a bunch of carbs for the long flow of energy.

  11. You should eat pasta 2 days before a race. And for breakfast, wheat bread with peanut butter and a banana or even better oatmeal.

  12. carbs - lots and lots of carbs
