Best bud keeps teachers photo under his bed ?

So i was at my buddies house yesterday, we were just hanging out in his room, chilling, playing video games, talking about chicks, the kind of thing most guys our age do. Well anyway, we were having this random conversation about what magazines we read, and he talked about his huge p**n stash that he keeps under his bed so his mom won't find them. He showed them to me, there were about 20 playboy/hustlers magazines and some videos, and then i noticed a picture of our math teacher Miss Smith (not her real name). I admit she is pretty hot and a lot of the guys in my class have the hots for her, but i would call them just innocent crushes, but i found it quite disturbing that he would keep a picture of her among his p**n stash, i don't even wanna think about what we does with it, she's our math teacher for goodness sake!

I'm no psychologist, but i think this is really unhealthy. Should I confront him and tell him or should I go to Miss Smith herself and let her know?

As long as nothing is actually going on, it sounds pretty innocent to me.  If it bothers you ask your friend about it.  Don't tell the teacher, it is only going to make the situation worse then it needs to be.  It honestly made me giggle because it sounds so innocent.  He has not done anything wrong.

1. Who cares?  I have no idea how old you are, but it's not exactly shocking news that a boy going through puberty is masturbating.  In fact I'd think the opposite would be true.  If your math teacher is attractive, then so what?  Fantasy life is just that -fantasy.  If he had child pornography or something like that, then I would take some sort of action, but this is nothing.  You already said that guys in your class think your teacher is cute - I bet at least one of them has tossed off thinking about her too.

2. Why is this question in the sociology board?  It has nothing to do with sociology.

Oh my gawd, are you serious?!  That's completely normal.  I mean, he is obviously using the photo for masterbatory fantasies and even if he didn't have the photo, he could probably just use the images in his head.  I mean, does actually having the physical photo really matter?  I had so many crushes in high school on teachers, and only because of those annoying fluctuations in hormones which eventually level out.  I think that if you were my friend and you tried to make me feel like I was unhealthy or sick in the head for that, I'd develop a bigger mental problem.  So no, I wouldn't even mess with it.  That may sound odd but it's just one of those things kids go through.  He shouldn't have to develop a complex over it.  I mean, he's obviously extremely horny if he has that many playboys or whatever.

don;t tell your teacher that would end your relationship with your friend trust me. ask him why hes into her so much and tell him your concerns no one else. its not that unhealthy.
