Best buisness investment?

Me and my wife recently inherited 785,000 were looking for a high interest barring account that would give us a monthly return of 4000 or somthing along those lines any ideas?

Talk to a Financial Planner. He/she will lay out a plan for you that will best utilize your money and get you the greatest return. Look in your local telephone book and pick a large established firm, but also shop around for the best fees etc. Also ask for referrals from the Financial Planner -and definitely call the referrals for their opinion on the planner's abilities and results.

How long of a time frame?

If its only for a few years, you could invest in High Yield Corporate Bonds in the Gaming Industry. They are usually pretty good. However, you would only get your interest payment quarterly.

4,000 a month, times 12 equals, 480,00 a year.

On a investment of 785,000 ? Not possible.

IF you  were to  put ALL of it into a 90 day roll over Certificate of Deposit account , you  MIGHT get an annual rate of 15 percent. With no risk to the principle amount.

But, 15 percent of  785,000 is only about 117,750 a year in interest.  Far less than you mentioned in your question.

Now if you want to do some really risky investing, try Japanese high tech stocks, or  far east emerging markets, like China oil and gas, or coal mines. But remember that you  can loose your  shirt fast with them.

Be safe and settle for less  annual return but more security.
