Best buy return policy with no receipt?

i got 2 hdmi cables about a month ago for 64.99 each..if i go 2 best buy and tell them i dont have the receipt, will they at least give me store credit or a gift card or something like that? or am i stuck with the cables?

If you used a credit card, you should have no trouble at all.

I just exchanged my HDTV and I didn't have my receipt. Go to the customer service desk and they should be able to look up your purchase if you give them your information, and print you a new receipt. However, I had someone from Best Buy come to look at my TV and he approved an exchange, but I still didn't have my receipt. I am not absolutely sure but give it a try.

Stores have gotten really picky about returns. You need to call them and ask what the latest policy is.

Some times they will take the product and give u store credit but u have to give them your ID and they arent happy about it. Some times they dont take they stuff at all.
