Best camcoders...?Digital or optical?

Are you intrerested in photography or/and filming? Would you be able to recommend a very good camcoder ( reasonable price but I care about the quality so do not mind spending money ). What make is the best? Are optical camcoders better than digital? Any advise, please help!

There is an R in there---it's spelled camcorder.  Go to a big store like Best Buy and look at the ones they carry.  Ask lots of questions and have the salesperson help you choose one which will be good for you.   I bought two camcorders from Best Buy, and both times, the salesperson was very helpful.  I think Sony is a very good brand.
