Best camera for $150?

Question

I want to get a new digital camera and i have around $150. I have no idea what to get. I have a sony and i love it but it broke. I would like something with around 7 megapixles. I had a nikon too and it was decent. It didn't have a ton of settings. Any suggestions and link will be greatly appreciated.

i bought a digital nikon for $145 at meijers a few weeks ago. i think it has 8 megapixles. and i absolutely LOVE it! :)

As was mentioned the Canon A560 is a good choice. My ex bought it last year and loves it. However the camera I suggest (and I've seen it on Websites for $145-new) would be the Canon PowerShot A590 IS.

4X optical zoom, 8 megapixels. Now if you learn a bit about photography you can set this camera's shutter speed/aperture manually. It can come in handy. Leaving it on auto is still an option. Also it has an image stabilizer for shaky hands.

  I'm glad to see one of your answerer's mentioned Meijers. It just shows that someone besides me resides in the Midwest on this Website.
