as for the delay, you will have to do your homework on that after you select a camera that you like

  2. All compacts have a delay between pressing the shutter and actually taking the picture, whilst my compact is thinking about it, my DSLR would have already taken 3 pictures.

Most compacts spec's won't include a frame rate, they're so bad that manufacturers don't want you to know, you'll have a hard time searching for that spec.

If you need a high frame rate no compact is good, they just don't work that way.

  3. i think u should save some more money and then buy the

    CANON EOS 400D

it's the previous model from the nem eos 450D but the features are almost the same and the price is much better.

  4. I'm happy with my Kodak EasyShare V1253 12 Megapixel camera.  The costs varies from $150 to $389 depending on the retailer.  Read the reviews, do some comparison shopping of cameras on one of the search engines.  I paid a little over $300 for mine and this camera is about a year old.  It takes video and still shots.

  5. HP Photosmart (red color for me)

    It comes in black too

    Works great

No complaints had it for almost a year
