  1. The new Honda Accord is downright s**y. Go for the EX (expect to pay about $24,500) or EX-L if you want leather and optional navigation. It offers a surprisingly strong V6 that gets about 19 city and 29 highway miles per gallon. The lines are great and, if you're so inclined, a chrome trim could add some character.

If you want something a bit less expensive, the new Corolla isn't bad looking and comes with the universally acknowledged unbeatable reliability.

  2. Pinto or Gremlin

  3. if you want new

    any type of hatchback

    honda and toyota are best

  4. Ford Fiesta Classic, it's cheap, reliable, simple, common so parts are in abundance and it's quite fuel efficient.

  5. ford KA

very cheap to buy and repair if you need to.

    reliable too.

i think it's stylish and i'm not sure about fuel efficiency

  6. A 1976 cadillac. its not to bad on gas (mid teens), it might be old, but easy and cheap to maintain, cheap to buy and insure, and when they hit something with it, you know your kid is gonna be just fine.

  7. A wee friday night car just.

  8. Well, the Honda Civic is the all-time favorite for teens, and for a good reason. It looks good, drives great, has good performance, is very reliable, is fuel efficient, is cheap to insure, holds it's resale value, and is relatively inexpensive. What more can you ask for? But if you don't like the Civic, here's an article with some other suggestions:

If you plan to buy a used car, make sure you get it looked over by a mechanic BEFORE you buy, because used cars are sold "as-is."

    Good luck.

  9. Honda Accord, Toyota Camry or Nissan Sentra.

  10. reliability should be your top concern. with todays economy, you would want to go with a gas saver. then price. a brand new is never a good idea, because lets face it, we all know how we drove at 16. i would go with something also that you think they would like. then you will get some cool points. so instead of getting the 96 geo metro because it only cost 50 bucks and a stick of gum. try a 2001-2003 accord or civic. hondas make reliable and gas saving vehicles. and for the price, its better than  the cheap car that costs thousands to fix in the future. and its cheaper than the newer car. just get on auto trader and shop around. you'll see.

  11. cadilic

  12. Civic/Accord/Altima/Maxima.. depends also on what you mean by AFFORDABLE..(some ppl can afford a lil more than others)
