Best car for a 21 year old girl?

Question

I am looking for a new car, but being a college student, I would like for it to be under 20,000.

I wish I knew more about cars, but does anyone know of any cute, reliable cars that I could drive?

Any help would be great!

Volkswagen Bugs are cute chick cars and I do believe they have a 5 star crash test rating, and they're reliable. I'd look into anything from Volkswagen, personally, they make some cute cars, and c’mon it's German engineering, you know it's good:

Please don't tell the salesman you want "cute."

Don't make any payments over three years. After three years,

you are then paying "more" than the car is worth.

And "please don't kick the tires." That is the first sign, as in
