  1. VW Jetta

    VW Rabbit

    Honda Civic

    Honda Fit

    Toyota Corolla

    Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe

    Nissan Sentra

    Nissan Versa

    Mazda 3i

Test drive all of them and see hwo they feel to you.

Personally, i LOVE the drive on the VW, but thats my personal choice :)

i'd suggest trying the Mazda, Civic, Fit, and VW Rabbit. They're all safe, reliable, good on gas and very fun to drive

  2. 1. Honda Fit (base) - $15,385

    2. Mazda 3i Sport (sedan) - $17,205

    3. Hyundai Elantra SE - $17,945

    avoid Toyota yaris

  3. If you stick with used cars, you have a lot of options. A MINI Cooper, Honda Civic Si, or a Mazda 6 would fit all three criteria.

  4. I would go for the Honda Civic Coupe. The start at about $15,000. You would have a couple extra thousand to add some features or upgrades, if you desire those.

Also, if you wanted to go with the Civic Si, which is about $22,000 and includes a faster engine, leather, wheels, sunroof, etc, you could pay your $17K cash and finance a couple thousand dollars. Get your parents to cosign and get a great APR, if you both have good credit.

    Have fun car shopping!

  5. Honda Civic, Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus.  Our daughter is driving a 2001 Honda Civic 2 door and it is a very sporty looking little car, great on gas, cheap to insure, and very reliable.  We have had absolutely ZERO problems with the car and its 7 years old.

  6. toyota corolla and honda civic.
