  1. For natural beauty St. Lucia is hard to beat - it has most of what you mentioned above and more (volcano, mountains, etc).

Tortolla is quite small, but lovely and quaint.  Check out the Sugar Mill - small hotel with great food!!

  2. try punta cana,, half the price and best beach

  3. I loved Antigua. It is gorgeous, try the St. James Club. Beautiful resort.

  4. Grand Cayman.

  5. St. Lucia is Third World but they have nice nature-oriented excursions to take part in. You can go to their famous Piton Mountains- to see an active volcano and take a tour through a GORGEOUS botanical garden.  Very few beaches, though, unless you're at a resort- but the water is crystal clear turquoise. It's an extremely safe island with practically no crime and the NICEST people ever!!!

http://www.sandals.com/main/lucia/lu-act... These are tours that Sandals Resort offers but you can take part in them even if you're not at that resort.

The Bahamas is known for their beaches- their clear turquoise water extends for several feet and they have a couple of tours- swimming with animals and other things you're probably looking for. Plus The Bahamas is very Americanized so you have casinos and specialty shops to take part in during the evenings (unlike St. Lucia which has rows and rows of colorful, humble shacks, with a few upscale homes, and some island restaurants).

They're both equally beautiful and wonderful- just a different atmosphere. Hope this helps.
