We went to the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at the Polynesian. It was a blast. It wasn't a buffet. It was served family style. It was all you can eat. though.  The pineapple bread was awesome and so was the tropical juice. There were also eggs, bacon and I think sausage and these little Mickey waffles that were to die for! The characters spent time at every table. There was Lilo and Stitch. Stitch was hilarious. He would knock people's hats off and stuff. There was also Mickey and Pluto. Then they had a parade around the restaurant. It was by far the best meal we had in the 5 days we were there.

Cape Mays at the Yacht and Beach club is the best character breakfast IMO the food is better than Chef Mickeys...

Anything at the crystal palace. Best breakfast buffet!  You can find winnie the pooh et al there or the princesses. Check out the schedule.  The other food events are not as good.

Grand Floridian I am a local and have been going there since I was a baby but it is by far the best belive me we have tried them all except for the crystal palace

the Grand Floridians breakfast is great, u have the characters and a fabulous meal, they even had lobster eggs benedict, and you can get carved meats like ham and have a custom made omlette. Their dessert area is also open.

To each his/her own.  Everyone has a  favorite place to eat and meet characters, it's hard to choose from past experiences or others because character line-ups changes all the time.  

Having breakfast with the Characters tips:

1)  You can phone the restaurant ahead of time and ask which characters you may expect.

2)  When in the restaurant make sure your children are seated nearest the aisle so that they have easy access for those hugs, autographs and photos with the characters.

3)  Don't forget the autograph book it's best to come prepared.

4)  Characters normally don't have pockets or carry a pen so bring one along preferably a sharpie because of its size it's easier to use.

Breakfast with the characters:

1)  The Crystal Palace- Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.

2)  Cinderella's Royal Table- for the little princess in your life.

3)  Restaurant Akershus-  Princess Storybook Dining, characters like Snow White, Mulan, Pocahontas and others.

4)  Donald's Safari Breakfast: meet Donald and pals at theTusker House.

5)  'Ohana (means family):  Lilo and Stitch Character Breakfast you can find it at Disney's Polynesian Resort.

6)  Chef Mickey's Buffet:  more of Mickey and the gang.
