Best (cheap) place to stay in Windsor, ON?

I'm from Windsor.  I can't say for sure where the cheapest place is, but we have several of the major chains here that seem fairly reasonable.  You don't say where you're coming from, but if you're coming over the border via the Bridge, the main highway off the bridge (Huron Church Line) has many, many motels....Super 8, etc.  I would go to the websites of the major chains (Days Inn, etc.) and see if they have locations in Windsor and what the rates are for the dates you are interested in.

We also on the same highway, and on other main streets leading into the city (Dougall Ave., for example) have many smaller family-owned non-franchise motels.  As I don't know the conditions of these places inside, you would be best to wait till you get here to check them out.  I am sure they would show you a room before you book.  There are plenty of them.

Of course, downtown, on the Drive and near the casino, we have a Hilton, Radisson, Travelodge, etc., and the casino itself has 2 hotel towers, but they all will be pricier.  Good luck.
