I am looking for a suburb in Dupage or Will counties for a white middle class family who wants to live in a nice area with good schools and an average or below average crime rate.

  1. As far as Dupage county, there would be Naperville, Wheaton, or Winfield. Also, Bartlett has some nice sub-divisions.

  2. Merrionette Park is a crappy little place with tiny houses.  Mt. Greenwood is right next door to it.  Both are Cook County, as is Evergreen Park.

Have you thought about Naperville or Oswego?

  3. New Trier township which is inclusive of Glencoe, Winnetka, Kenilworth, and Wilmette, which admittedly is north rather than south of the city, has one of the best school districts in the nation, and is also one of the safest, if you can afford it. Some of the housing is rather pricey but it makes up for it in the ways I have mentioned.

  4. Evergreen park is in Cook County! I think Darien is in Dupage county! My brother lives there and they have great schools. Less crimes too!
