Best chocolates in Peru?

I've heard there is great cacao there and would like to open a business in NY.

Hi, yes there is great cacao in Peru but I would say that the production of quality chocolate is not that high. To me there are 2 producers of chocolates whose quality can equal any other in the world. They are "Helena chocolates" (from Ica) and "La Iberica" (from Arequipa). They sell them in Lima and have many stores around Peru. Apart from those two there are other chocolates but made in factories like Nestle, etc which are not that good. I am not sure about selling them in NY, you would have to talk to these two manufacturers and see if they would like to open a franchise in NY.
