  1. beige.Try using a neutral color. A neutral color is neither sad, happy ,or dull.

  2. crimson.

  3. I would do a bold, empowering color.  Maybe a red or a green.  Or even a yellow to resemble the sun and energy.

  4. When you work your body, you actually relax your mind...that's why working out is so beneficial to good mental health. Consider an aqua, leaning toward blue, rich...like the Caribbean, and add a rack for colorful towels in tropical colors not only to dry off with, but to decorate the room with. Use matchstick blinds for window or windows. Bright tropical print box valance with some of the same aqua coloring in it.

Paint the ceiling a deep beach sand color. Posters or paintings or photos of beaches, beautiful tropical places. It will put you in a good mood when you work out and relieve stress.

  5. A workout room should be full of life and energy.

I suggest you paint the walls a light yellowish/green...the color of life.

Then add big green plants in the room to increase the amount of available oxygen in the room.

Also add a small fountain to add the sound of water.

Add a fan in the corner to circulate the clean fresh oxygenated air around the room.

Have sheer white curtains so that you can open them to allow natural light to flood the room.

  6. according to feng shui, green is an ideal color for an exercise room:

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think like the color called "courtyard" (# 6440).

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
