Best color sofa pillows?

Question

What color should the covers (pillows) be? I am thinking about replacing both the back pillows and the sitting mat pillows (They are so out of place in my house). I think a drak brown will go good with the other things in the picture.

I was thinking red too. But not like fire engine or cherry red... something a little bit darker. Almost a blood red color. A navy blue would look great too.
